This holiday season help some deserving pups get exactly what's on their wishlist without heading to the store or even leaving the house. Our goal is to raise $1,300 by December 31, the cost of a 4 month supply of food for dogs of the Del Norte Animal Control shelter. Every dollar of your donation is tax deductible and will go toward providing over 7,500 quality meals for dogs waiting to find their forever homes!

Through our Pit Stop & Adopt program, Born Again Pit Bull Rescue partners with small and rural shelters across the Pacific Northwest, including the Del Norte Animal Control shelter, to provide food, supplies, pre and post adoption assistance and volunteer support. Learn more about the program, what we’ve accomplished this year thanks to your support and how our efforts have helped place 353 dogs in loving homes since 2007.

Like many rural municipal dog pounds, the Del Norte Animal Control shelter gets creative to meet the needs of a growing population of homeless dogs, most of which are pit-bull blends. While the dedicated staff and volunteers that run the shelter offer the dogs as much comfort and enrichment as possible, they struggle with low budgets, aging buildings, small indoor kennel runs, odd adoption viewing hours and low foot traffic. Learn more about the unique challenges the Del Norte shelter faces and why BAPBR is coordinating a food drive on behalf of the dogs of Del Norte.
